Themed “Cun Chao” matches not only present local culture but also serve as an important window into foreign cultures. The themed matches, such as the “Discover the Beauty of China: Rendezvous at Guizhou Cun Chao” International Friendship Matches, the “Belt and Road” International Friendly Matches and “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area” Friendly Matches, are open to teams from all regions. The matches are generally organized as teams in Guizhou against teams from other provinces or domestic teams against foreign teams.  In addition, cooperation with top-tier football competitions is another channel to engage in cultural exchanges with the outside world. With support from provincial and local governments, “Cun Chao” signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the English Premier League (EPL) at the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), marking the beginning of its internationalization.
