Welcome to the
International Forum of University Presses
Any university press is welcome to join. The purpose of this website is to exchange experiences.
Please put summaries of the group discussions online here in English and/or Spanish.
In order to write anything in this Forum, please follow these registration steps:
- Go to http://wiki.vm.rub.de/up[1]
- There, click on Special:RequestAccount[2] (or choose "login" on the top right corner. A login box appears. Click on "Request one" (an account) on the top right corner of the login box.)
- Fill in a username with a recognizable part of your press name (let's say "Bochum"), your real name, your email address and confirm the submission by typing in the fixed first-time password "uni". Please do not be irritated by the request to solve a simple equation to solve, that is a anti-spam measure by our computing center, there is no equation.
- You will receive an email with an authentication link. Click on that.
- Wait for receiving a confirmation that your access request has been granted. Follow the confirmation link and input a personal password.
- With this username and personal password you can now login and on the top of the page you find "edit". With "edit" you can directly edit the current page or create a new page. Don't forget to click on "Save".
