报告文学对于我来说，不算完全陌生，也不能说是驾轻就熟。如果让我选择，我还是喜欢写散文，我喜欢在那诗一般的境界中，让心灵畅游，像鱼儿一样跟着海水起伏，而每一次抵达，都收获一次夺目的蜕变。我也喜欢写小说，你可以出场或者隐身，操持各种语调，让你的人物成为高飞的丹顶鹤，幻化千姿百态，直至扑朔迷离，用一个个意料之外，展示一种种情理之中。我觉得写报告文学对作家几近苛求，从生活到艺术，从事实到叙述，没有给你任何文过饰非或者闭门造车的缝隙，不论面对多么宏大的土地，你必须深深地躬下身子，细细地鉴别每一株草木，而你以往的人生经验，只能用于对题材的思考和理解，若移花接木，必然失血脱骨，而闲笔恣肆，则会离题万里。真实，是报告文学的生命和根基，在这个前提下，要做到声情并茂，温暖感人，必须用有力量的细节说话。好细节都在生活的深处，我能找到它们吗？

去年十月到十二月间，我两次到内蒙古自治区赤峰市体验生活，收集创作脱贫攻坚主题报告文学的素材。赤峰对我来说，和当初写中篇小说《包·哈斯三回科右中旗》时的科右中旗一样，既熟悉又陌生。熟悉是因为我也是一个内蒙古人，陌生是因为内蒙古和八个省市自治区接壤，每一个盟市的人文地理都是有差别的。赤峰市位于内蒙古自治区东部，西辽河上游，大兴安岭西南段山脉与燕山北麓之间的山地草原，面积九万余平方公里，乃 是半农半牧区，与我常住的呼伦贝尔草原大不相同。赤峰蒙古语为“乌兰哈达”，因城区东北部赭红色山峰而得名。赤峰市是内蒙古自治区的九个地级市之一，有八千年的文化宝藏，有众多北方少数民族的文明遗迹，有国家级文物保护单位五十处，在考古学上以其境内地名命名的文化八种。赤峰原本高山大野，水草葳蕤，后来，这里的生态在历史进程中退化了下来。到1994年，赤峰市产生了八个国家级贫困县（旗），两个自治区级贫困县（旗），时至今年三月份，才得以全部摘帽脱贫。穷则思变，赤峰人从未失去过梦想，从未停止过奋斗，大到全面实施精准扶贫和乡村振兴，小到贫困户家庭捆制的一把笤帚、致富带头人蒸出的一锅粘豆包，无不体现出他们追求幸福生活的信念。现在举国进行的这场脱贫攻坚大决战，解决了这里的绝对贫困问题，使这片土地旧貌变新颜，让这里的老百姓踏上了小康之路。二零一九年五月，国务院批准赤峰为扶贫改革试验区，赤峰市开启了巩固脱贫攻坚成果、创新扶贫架构新模式、建立确保贫困人口脱贫后不返贫，振兴社会主义新农村的新征程。 Between October and December last year, I twice to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Chifeng City, to experience life, to collect the creation of the theme of poverty alleviation reportage material. The Mongolian word for Chifeng is "Ulan Hada," named for the ochre-red peaks in the northeastern part of the city. Chifeng is one of the nine prefecture-level cities in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with 8,000 years of cultural treasures, many relics of the civilization of northern minorities, 50 national cultural relics protection units, and eight cultures named after places in its territory in archaeology. Originally, Chifeng had a large wilderness of high mountains and lush water and grass, but later, the ecology of the area degraded in the course of history. She was the first one to respond to the government’s call to relocate to a new village.

我是一个离开了细节就不会写作的写作者。俯瞰赤峰波澜壮阔的脱贫攻坚战，可谓修拉式的点彩大画面。我知道只有在每一个小亮点上深度挖掘，才能找到脉搏般鲜活、奇妙、栩栩如生的东西。实际上，这个过程并不是一蹴而就的，我一再告诫自己，生活是璞玉，你要有耐心。这本书中的十六个短篇，都是先做了实地观察，与主人公交谈，进而研究资料，找到一些可以追寻的切入点，再次和主人公沟通，最后才落笔的。我发现，其实我的每个主人公的生命里都藏有珍贵记忆，只不过打开那些质朴的心灵，真的挺难，他们讲述自己的故事，只有三言两语，越深情的东西，越不愿意触动，往往习惯用抽象的语言一带而过。所以，我的难题不是怎样表达，而是怎样进入生活的内核。

I found every protagonist of my book hid their precious memories in the life, but it is really difficult to approach those simple hearts. They described their stories with only a few words. The more affectionate things, the more reluctant to touch, people tend to use abstract words in passing. So, my challenge is not how to express but how to get into the core of life.

The more affectionate things are, the more reluctant they are to touch them. They are often used to using abstract language to talk about these things briefly. So, my challenge is not how to express but how to enter the core of life.

2017年，赤峰市敖汉旗古鲁板蒿乡孤山子村杨家杖子自然村遭遇了前所未有的一场大雨。
