A única saída foi abrir Graceland ao público - com exceção do andar superior (onde ficam os aposentos de Elvis e aonde ele veio a falecer) - que até os dias de hoje continua vetado, tendo acesso restrito à Lisa, Priscilla e três gestores da Elvis Presley Enterprises. Este passo foi basic para que os fãs se sentissem mais próximos a Elvis mesmo após a sua morte. Por outro lado, o sucesso é estupendo desde o início. Pelo testamento deixado por Elvis, sua única herdeira só deveria tomar a frente dos negócios aos 25 anos (1993). Mas os resultados com a gestão bem sucedida de Priscilla fizeram com que Lisa pedisse à mãe que continuasse por mais cinco anos.
