Slipper orchid care for these orchids is a little more difficult than cattleyas but you can be successful. To me slipper orchids are one of the prettiest orchids around. They have this waxy sheen to them and the petals and lips are thicker than most orchids.

These orchids can also do well with a constant temperatures and the cool growing ones can stand temps into the 40's if needed for a short time.
Those paphs which have green leaves are usually the cool climate ones, whilst those with mottled leaves are warm growing ones.
As most orchids, slipper orchids require humidity between 40 60%, remember they usually grow on the rain forest floor. This may need to be augmented by using humidity trays. You can get a flat tray with sides. Fill the tray with stone pebbles and then add water about エアジョーダン half way up. Place the plant on the tray making sure that the slipper orchid roots are not touching the water. If it does there is a good chance for root rot.

WASHINGTON, April 26 /PRNewswireUSNewswire/ Baker Hughes ServicesInternational Inc. (BHSI) a wholly owned subsidiary of Baker HughesIncorporated pleaded guilty to violating the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act(FCPA), Assistant Attorney General Alice S. Fisher of the Criminal Divisionannounced today. District Judge Gray H. Miller, in theSouthern District of Texas, BHSI pleaded guilty to violations of theantibribery provisions of the FCPA, conspiracy to violate the FCPA, andaiding and abetting the falsification of the books and records of its parentcompany Baker Hughes. Additionally, Baker Hughes simultaneously entered intoa deferred prosecution agreement with the プラダ 財布 Justice Department regarding thesame underlying conduct, and accepted responsibility for conduct of itsemployees.
As part of the plea and deferred prosecution agreements, it was agreedthat BHSI would pay a criminal fine of $11 million, serve a threeyear term oforganizational probation and adopt a comprehensive antibribery complianceprogram. These corrupt payments were paidthrough a consulting firm retained as an agent for Baker Hughes in connectionwith a major oil field services contract.
As the charging and plea documents reflect, the government of Kazakhstanand Kazakhoil, entered into an agreement with トリーバーチ 店舗 a consortium of fourinternational oil companies for the purpose of developing and operating agiant oil field known as Karachaganak in northwestern Kazakhstan. In February2000, BHSI submitted a bid, on behalf of Baker Hughes, to performcomprehensive services such as project management, oil drilling, and supportservices in connection with the Karachaganak project.
Kazakhoil wielded considerable influence as Kazakhstan's national oilcompany, and the ultimate award of any contract by the consortium ofinternational oil コンバース 厚底 companies depended upon the favorable recommendation ofKazakhoil officials. After BHSI submitted its bid for the Karachaganakproject and before the award was announced, Kazakhoil officials demanded thatBaker Hughes pay a ゴローズ ネックレス commission to "Consulting Firm A," located on the Isle ofMan, to act as its agent. Although Consulting Firm A had performed noservices to assist Baker Hughes, in September 2000, BHSI agreed to pay acommission equal to 2 percent of the revenue earned on the Karachaganakproject, and 3 percent on future projects in Kazakhstan. If Baker Hughes fullycomplies with all the terms and conditions of the deferred prosecutionagreement for a period of two years, the government has agreed not to bringany further criminal charges based on the underlying conduct and other conductuncovered in the course of the investigations.
The department acknowledges and expresses its appreciation of thesignificant assistance provided by the staff of the Enforcement Division ofthe Securities and Exchange Commission over the course of this investigation.
