Like with any shoe that has rounded edges you might lose some traction around the edges if you're on a dirty/slippery floor but they have very good traction overall. Great fit, a little on the narrower/sleeker side and forms to foot pretty well. They're feather light, lighter than any other shoe on the market and the sole is thin so you get a pretty good feel of the floor.

Otherwise, have you tried some good insoles, heel guards, all the foot products? When I was working factory jobs and on my feet 16 hours a day, I had a cheap pair of sneakers, but had some good insoles, a toe guard, a heel guard, and sometimes a little bandaid type strap over the top of my foot to keep it from rubbing. Then you could at least use them in multiple shoes or buy several packs for different style shoes. I think if I had that many issues I'd try just about anything.
