As an A's fan, I've watched with some amusement as my good friend who is a Giants fan winced each time a new allegation arose. I don't know Bonds well enough to have a strong opinion of him, so I'm not offended the A's might consider adding him to the roster. I can understand how ballplayers would be excited to play with a man who will surely go down in history as a great baseball player. My regret is simply the baggage that Barry brings with him that makes him such a lightning rod for those judgmental jerks who love to scream epithets. But nothing will deter them.
