phaedon, I'm extremely acquainted with tagging, tag clouds, etc however the generation of an image gallery determined by tags seems to be strangely obscure unless I am googling badly (undoubtedly a possibility!).

JohnnyPeck has a plugin called Tag Gallery but it's not been updated for a though. Very good concerns KMB - I hadn't thought of tagging the images and now I am not clear around the finest technique to display the galleries generated. I even wondered if it will be superior to go having a "related posts" if that may be generated by way of tags or featured images (all posts may have featured pictures creating a portfolio-style household page).

Thank you all for your responses (and sort memails!) to what I now see can be a half-baked question - it really is created me realise that I should go back towards the original notion and get started arranging improved (this was started two years ago in an earlier verison of WordPress and having a theme that might not be suitable for this project)
