What you may not know is that the Derby Party is also a major charity event for the Sean "Ranch" Lough memorial scholarship fund, which sends students to college each year.

Also Friday morning, scholarship award winner Lena Stroud from South High School announced that she is the recipient of a full ride scholarship to CSU in Fort Collins. Funds from the Derby Party go to help send kids to school each year, in honor of Sean.
