对于90前后的年轻人来说，追星是必须的，赶时髦也是不可或缺的。若问他们崇拜什么人物，那么我们得到的答案往往都是成功者。这些成功者，必定拥有大量的财富，或者站在某一行业的绝对制高点。

For young people around the 90s, star-chasing is a must. So is catching up with the fashion. If we ask them what kinds of people they admire, the answer we get is often successful people. These people must have a colossal amount of wealth, or stand in the absolute high point of a certain industry.

刘叶阳和他的同龄者有一点不同，那就是他从童年到如今，一直保持着对父亲的崇拜。长大我，我要成为你，这是刘叶阳的人生梦想。

One thing that makes Liu Yeyang different from his peers is that he has maintained his admiration for his father since childhood. "When I grow up, I want to be someone like you" is the dream of Liu Yeyang.

刘叶阳的父亲是赤峰市县级机关里的一个科级干部。他出生在赤峰市喀喇沁旗牛家营子镇团结村，后来读书和工作始终没有离开过这片区域，在最接地气的工作岗位上,他一干就是大半辈子，一步步从民办教师，村宣传委员，乡党办秘书，副乡长走到今天的岗位，总结起来，还真的没有什么轰轰烈烈之类的壮举，就是一个踏踏实实，勤勤恳恳的老党员、老公务员。

His father is a cadre at the rank of section chief in a county-level agency in Chifeng. He was born in the unity village, Niujiayingzi town, Karachin Banner Chifeng city. 童年的夕阳透出无限的暖意，哪怕脚下是一层厚厚的白雪，寒风把他圆鼓鼓的小脸吹得像个红萝卜，小叶阳也会站在家门口的路边固执地等待。父亲会在这个时刻回家，他总是骑着那辆老旧的自行车，从远处的桔红色光芒中走来，脸上满是汗珠和霜雪。他使劲蹬了两下车，飞快地在儿子跟前停住，伸出一只手，把儿子从地上捞起来，放在自行车的大梁上，然后推着宝贝儿子，一路有说有笑地往家走。

In spite of those comments, he still determined to be a college student at an elder age after passing the exam successfully. 许多年之后，刘叶阳还记得父亲脚上那双带裂痕的旧皮鞋上，还记得父亲肩头那只重重的旧书包。

父亲在外读书工作，母亲一个人忙着种地和家务，小叶阳就成了一个自由自在的小牛犊，从小贪玩导致了他后来面对高考的望而却步。父亲并没有发火，一遍遍鼓励儿子，实力是点灯熬油积攒下来的，拼一拼才知道自己到底怎么样。刘叶阳大学毕业之后，又在父亲的支持下，连考三年而不气馁，终于考上了公务员。也许就是命运使然，他也像父亲一样，做了牛家营子乡的党办秘书，在这个父亲曾经的单位里，他的同事很多都是长辈，他们见到刘叶阳，第一句话都是——刘永军的儿子肯定错不了。他们告诉刘叶阳，你爸那人啊，大事小事，没有一件事不认真，个人事再大，也总是放在工作后面，在乡镇合并，人事调整的时候，他一没找领导要岗位，二没在原地等消息，而是到外地招商引资去了…… 刘叶阳在这里工作了三年，上班的时候，父亲是一面无形镜子，时时刻刻审视着他，砥砺着他；回到家里，父亲就是他随时请教的老师，他永远不能忘记父亲的教诲——事事出以公心，不谋私利，什么时候你都能站住脚。
