Professor HH holds a Ph.D. in Contemporary History and a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, both from the Complutense University of Madrid. Her areas of specialization include Sinology in Spain, China’s relations with Spanish-speaking countries, East Asian Studies, and Chinese-Spanish translation. She has completed a Master’s degree in Contemporary History at the Complutense University of Madrid, a Master’s in International Relations and Diplomacy at the Diplomatic School of Spain, a Master’s in the History of the Expansion of the Portuguese Empire at NOVA University Lisbon, and a Master’s in Latin American Studies at Beijing Foreign Studies University. Currently, she serves as a professor in the Area of Oriental Studies at the Complutense University of Madrid. She also collaborates with several universities: at Alfonso X el Sabio University (in social studies and applied linguistics), where she was project leader of “One Asia” from 2018 to 2024; at the University of Alcalá, in the Master’s programs in Intercultural Communication, Public Service Interpreting and Translation, and Conference and Business Interpreting; and at Rey Juan Carlos University, in the Official Master’s Program in Europe-China Relations.
