Hu lan cheng is the first lover of Elienn chang ,who is a modern writer in China.He is good at writing ,but as a husband,he is unqualified. Although he is a modern writer,he still have some bad habits which were formed in old traditional Chinese society.He is not loyal at his love,which hurts Elieen chang 's heart.Hu lancheng met chang in 1943, when she was 23 and he was 37.In short time,they falled in love .They were married the following year in a private ceremony. But finally,Chang and Hu divorced in 1947.
