David Andrew Porter studied medieval studies and comparative literature in Canada before completing his PhD in Modern and Medieval Languages at the University of Cambridge (Clare College). He completed a post-doc at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and is now an Associate Professor in the English Department at Hunan Normal University. He is interested in a diverse range of topics within the fields of digital humanities, modern and medieval literature.
