I'm Li Ying. I was born in 1997, and now I am 24 years old. I have majored in English translation. I have started learning English since I was a primary student, which cultivated my great interests in learning. As time passed by, when I read some English versions of Chinese classics, I surprisedly find that the great differences between Chinese and western thinking pattern. I wanted to figure out what makes these differences. According to this motivation ,I chose English translation as my major. No doubt that I like reading, traveling is also one of my favorite hobbies. Last summer, my family and some friends traveled Xinjiang by self-driving, which is the biggest province in China. During the journey , we experienced some unusual things, for example, we wore down coat to feel the freeze atmosphere, however we even could eat watermelon, which usually grew in summer. Moreover, we saw some magnificent scenery in desert, in lakes and in mountains. The sky there is more beautiful than our hometown, you can enjoy the whole rainbow, drive along the rainbow or even through the rainbow. Also, you were given a chance to witness some kind of plants spare their efforts to oppose unfavorable conditions to grow. Traveling is not only a relaxed journey ,but also a journey to upgrade myself. Also, I sometimes surf the Internet and watch movies to enrich my spare time. I have read a sentence in a movie, that is :"Life was like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get". So always stay curious, positive and happy.
