Hi,I'm Tong Yumeng.You can also call me Rebecca.I 'm a graduate majoring in written English translation in Hunan Normal University.And I spent my four-year college life as an English major in Hunan University of Arts and Science. Usually I like reading novels, running and doing Yoga.Three weeks ago, I chose this course out of my love for Chinese culture and my thirst for knowledge. Personally, I am so intereted in some topics like how to translate culture-loaded words in Chinese classics into English, the cultural difference between China and western countries,the spread of Chinese culture in the western world...To be honest, I was a little curious before why this course is taught by a foreign teacher rather than a Chinese one.After the first session, I understand what we need is a teacher who is proficient in Chinese culture and has a multicultural perspective, no matter which country he comes from. I sincerely hope I can learn a lot from this course.
